History
Long ago, the island of Wiiowii revealed itself only to those it chose. In the year 2000, an explorer named Nicholas McCollister claimed to have found it while seeking a rare medicinal plant in the South Pacific, but many whisper that Wiiowii found him.(learn more at wattii)
The people of Wiiowii are said to descend from travelers of a forgotten land, carried by the tides and welcomed by the island’s hidden magic. Their ways are steeped in polytheistic devotion, with gods of sea, sky, fire, and earth guiding their every step.
Legends speak of a great war between unseen forces, a battle that tore the fabric of the island’s past. From that loss came not ruin, but enchantment—an island veiled in mystery, where the air hums with old power, and every stone, tree, and tide carries whispers of forgotten spells..
Language: Scolimo
Scolimo is the ancient language of Wiiowii, woven from 23 sacred symbols and five distinct vowel forms. Each symbol is more than a letter, it mirrors the very shape of the mouth as the sound is born, connecting speech to breath and body.
Unlike most tongues, Scolimo flows from top to bottom, as if words are falling from the sky or rising from the earth. Spoken in the front and middle of the mouth, its sound carries a unique rhythm. Part chant, part melody, echoing the harmony of the island itself.

Knowledge
On Wiiowii, time is not measured by clocks or calendars but by the migration of birds and animals, a living rhythm that guides daily life. With little change in the seasons, nature itself becomes the keeper of cycles.
Education is deeply practical, rooted in oral traditions that teach survival, trade, and harmony with the land. The wisdom passed from one generation to the next carries the island’s magic as surely as its stories.
As tribe members grow older, they journey to Batowa, the far end of the island, where only the elders reside. From this sacred place, they draw on their experience to create laws, resolve conflicts, and guide the people, blending tradition, memory, and mystery into the lifeblood of Wiiowii.
