MODZIW is a 57-year-old sage of the Swus tribe, the wise father of Revo and grandfather of young Potu. Respected across the island for his warmth, curiosity, and natural charisma, he carries both the spirit of a teacher and the heart of a scientist. Always drawn to discovery, MODZIW roams the island in search of rare flowers, plants, and herbs, uncovering their hidden properties to help his people. With satchels full of his findings, he blends tradition with science, keeping the island’s knowledge alive.

At home, MODZIW filled pages with ideas and inventions, inspiring Revo while raising him. But his true passion was in the field, wandering the island, testing new mixtures, and sharing remedies with his tribe. On one of these journeys, he formed an unlikely yet loyal friendship with Takawawa, a comical and protective elephant who became his trusted companion.
